About Lakeville
Lakeville is a village in Paupack Township, Wayne County, on the western shore of Lake Wallenpaupack. Route 590 is its main road.
Lake Wallenpaupack was created between 1924 and 1926, when PP&L dammed Wallenpaupack Creek for hydroelectric power. The lake runs about 13 miles long with 52 miles of shoreline across 5,700 acres, Pennsylvania's fourth-largest lake.
