Jonathan J. Nelson Real Estate ("we," "us," or "our"), located at 9 N. Main Street, Pittston, PA 18640, operates jjnre.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information submitted through this website.

02 Information We Collect

Information you give us. Your name, phone number, e-mail address and the content of your message when you use a contact form, a showing or information request, the home-valuation tool, the review form, or the chat assistant. If you create a free Public Access account, we also store the e-mail address and password you choose, and the searches and properties you save.

Information collected automatically. Your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, the pages you view and the searches you run on this site. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies by the services named in section 04.

We do not collect payment card information, Social Security or government ID numbers, or health information through this website.

03 How We Use Your Information

We use what you give us to respond to your inquiry, to provide the real estate services you request, and — where you have asked for them — to send saved-search alerts, new-listing notifications and price-change notices by e-mail or text.

Information you submit through a form or the chat assistant is recorded in our internal customer relationship management system so the agent who follows up has your request in front of them.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

04 Cookies, Analytics and Service Providers

We use a small number of third-party services to run this website. Each of these receives some information about your visit:

• Google Analytics 4 — page views, referrer, approximate location, device and browser, and a randomly generated identifier stored in a cookie. Used to understand which pages are useful.
• Google Maps — loads map tiles on property and area pages.
• Google (Gemini) — if you use the chat assistant, the messages you type are sent to Google's Gemini service to generate a reply. Do not enter information in the chat that you would not want transmitted to a third-party AI service. Your conversation is also stored in your own browser so the chat survives a page reload.
• Supabase — our database and account provider, which stores listing data, Public Access accounts, saved searches and saved properties.
• Netlify — hosts this website, receives standard web server logs, processes form submissions, and collects aggregate page-performance measurements (load speed and similar timings) through its Real User Monitoring feature. These are performance figures, not a recording of your session.
• Twilio — delivers text messages if you have opted in to them.
• Meta (Facebook) — used for social embeds and advertising measurement.
• Spark Platform / the multiple listing service — supplies the property data and photographs shown on this site.
• U.S. Census Bureau and OpenStreetMap Nominatim — provide neighborhood statistics and address geocoding for area and valuation pages. These receive a ZIP code or an address, not your identity.

We do not use session-recording or session-replay software on this website. We do not record your mouse movements, scrolling, keystrokes or screen. A third-party session-recording tool was previously present on this site and was removed in August 2026.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on. Blocking cookies may affect saved searches and staying signed in.

04a Your Choices

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Contact us using the details at the bottom of this page and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can unsubscribe from any alert e-mail using the link in that e-mail, stop text messages by replying STOP, and delete a Public Access account by asking us to close it.

05 Third-Party Links

This website may contain links to external websites, including MLS listing services, social media platforms, and other real estate resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those external sites.

06 Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and fulfill any related transaction. You may request deletion of your information by contacting us directly.

07 SMS / Text Messaging

If you provide your mobile number and opt in to receive text messages from Jonathan J. Nelson Real Estate — whether through a form on this website or directly with one of our agents during a real estate relationship — we may send you SMS messages related to your inquiry and our services. You are never required to consent to text messages as a condition of any purchase or service.

Types of messages. Messages may include property inquiries, appointment scheduling and reminders, showing confirmations, listing updates, transaction milestones, document requests, market updates, and general customer-service communications. If you opt in to our informational updates, you may also receive new-listing alerts, open-house notifications, home buying and selling tips, market insights, and occasional promotional messages about the brokerage’s services.

Frequency, rates, and opting out. Message frequency varies based on your relationship with the brokerage and the stage of your transaction. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, and you can request help by replying HELP. Opting out of text messages will not affect the other real estate services we provide to you.

Your mobile information is never shared. No mobile information, phone numbers collected for SMS, or SMS opt-in consent will be sold or shared with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
