Albrightsville is a small community in Carbon County, straddling Kidder and Penn Forest Townships. Route 534 and Route 903 meet at its eastern edge, just east of Hickory Run State Park.
The settlement drains toward the Lehigh River by way of Mud Run. Interstate 80 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Northeast Extension lie to the west.
The wider Albrightsville area is second-home country. Large private lake and recreation communities, including Holiday Pocono and Towamensing Trails, surround the crossroads and give it a strongly seasonal character. Its setting between state parkland and gated developments makes it an affordable foothold in the western Poconos.
