About Courtdale

Courtdale is a small borough in the Wyoming Valley, incorporated in 1897. It sits among the west-side boroughs near Luzerne and Pringle, a few miles northwest of Wilkes-Barre.

Coal mining and manufacturing were the area's main industries through the 19th and 20th centuries. Courtdale stayed a small residential borough as that economy wound down.
